Mediterranean
Echoes
We organise talks, historical re-enactments and workshops with the people keeping Mediterranean cultures alive. Our work begins in southern Italy, Greece and Cyprus and welcomes ideas from every shore.

Projects in development
A festival stop could take shape in a theatre, a museum or a town square. We start with the place and the people who call it home.
The idea for a travelling festival was presented on 26 November 2023 at the University of Cyprus during the seminar “Salutiamo la Magna Grecia”. The festival is being developed with 2026–2027 as its planning horizon. Dates and venues for future stops will appear in the agenda once confirmed.
01Living history and dialogue
Re-enactment groups, researchers and local communities can propose a talk, a guided visit or a demonstration of everyday life in antiquity.
02Arts, crafts and food
Pottery, weaving, music, theatre and local recipes can become workshops where visitors learn directly from artists, craftspeople and cooks.
03Places and future stops
For each proposal, we discuss the space, the audience and practical needs with the prospective host. Kourion in Cyprus is one location considered in the festival’s preliminary study.
